What A Year: 2008

So, as i type this 2008 is gonna enter the history books with the rest of the other 13.7 billion or so of its buddies. You see, i actually planned to write a really really long comtemplative essay about how i improved my life, how i have contributed to the world, how i relealised my social responsibilities, and how the last three topics are not actually true. But being the (lazy)human i am i decided to make a list of cool things I did in 2008(in no particular order).

1.Made A Blog

4. I Hugged A Tree



Oooh yes indeed, i hugged a tree. What's that? You want to know what it feels like? Well, kinda like hugging a person, whos 10 metres tall, hard, brown, and covered in bark all over. That, and the person only bathes in the rain and eats soil.

5. Sang Christmas Carols
Yeah i sang, wanna watch it? Wanna hear it? Do you really wanna watch the video? Wanna feel the ear-splitting stomach-wrenching horror of me singing with a group of friends? DO YOU? HUH? Dont say i didnt warn you...

A Gathering With An Old Friend

Where do i start? It has been a helluvaday! You see, i mean you WILL see from the photos below, a friend and former classmate Li Ann has returned to Malaysia! And not only that, we had a gathering just for fun!(and to meet and catch up with Li Ann of course)

Li Ann, Hostess of the Gathering- She somehow decided we should meet up at Kayu Nasi Kandar , she wanted to try that Super-Big-Long-Sweet-Buttery-Roti-Tisu thingy, unfortunately it was lunch time and Kayu Nasi Kandar only serves mee and nasi at that time.(gagh!)

Everyone that went to the gathering- not including me of course since im the photographer at the time. And not including the lady at the top left, thats the waitress(probably doesnt want to join us anyway).

Yeah after the eating, talking, laughing, present giving, and camera-bag-chasing, we decided to go to Li Ann's house(dont ask me why). Yeah and we were going to walk there. Come on, a bit of walk once in a while (in the blazing weather) wouldnt kill you would it?

So we were at Li Ann's before you knew it, and we met her mum and saw her brother's Lego ermmm....collection?gallery?assembly line?It was a nice house with nice people. Here's some pics to see for yourself:

This is a picture of Elaura, Lesley, and the ever-elusive-and-rather-destructive-Wen. ahem *nature guide voice* The Wen is seen here in its natural habitat, around people. Although Wen is normally spotted in areas of high concentrations of LegoTM, he is seen here with a stack of blocks(which are about to topple).

MayQin(piano) and Hanley(drums)- Notice the ghost like effect on Ever-Elusive-Wen hiding behind the cymbals and Ling Ben trying to catch him. Yeah the ever gracious Li Ann was willing to let us play on her piano, drums, and guitar, all for good and safe fun of course.

LengLui Guitarist Strumming Some Christmas Songs- Somehow, or probably due to the "Magic of Christmas", everyone started singing and jamming to Christmas Songs.It was quite fun singing "WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS" out aloud with like 10 people (sorry neighbours, we dont have volume control) .

Christmas Song Singing- Typical scene of Christmas song singing, Edward was suprisingly reluctant to join in eventhough he is in the Seafield Choir Club, go figure. Couldnt say we sounded very nice but it was fun, Ling Ben was singing from behind Lesley, couldnt get him in the photo.

Ahah! A Blog!

Awe-inspiring Super-cool-moving Self-Sliding Title for a Cool Optimized Outstanding Llama-spitting Blog(not to mention self-praising)

Sure, everyone was asking me to start a blog. Okay...... well not everyone, im sure there are people out there who would rather me NOT have a blog (ahem *government*ahem*ISA*ahem).

Why in the world and internet filled with mindless games, self-addictive sites and websites naming themselves after a part of our head and a reading material would i make a blog? Havent i still have that site named after the sound of certain species of bird makes to try out?Poke me and tell me i am persuadable, have high persuasibleness (sure! theres such word, click the link!) , tell the world i rarely expostulate(go on, click the link), call me capricious(I said click the link!)or even say i am mercurial(Tired of clicking links? XD)

There it is! Five minutes of my life used to fill the first entry of my blog with stuff even i dont understand...

P.S:This look and feel is just temporary until i get my lazy-bum and inactive-brain to edit the blog more.

P.P.S.:My bum is not lazy, its just me.

P.P.P.S:Dont know when i will post the next post, so dont hold your breath waiting for the next post...or you might end up in hospital.
